As a UX Designer you will:
- Use wireframes, prototypes and graphic and HTML mock-ups to test proposed changes or new products and socialise coming improvements amongst the key stakeholders.
- Support the commercialisation strategy for digital products by ensuring that all digital products are designed and developed with a user-centered approach
- Develop the UX strategy, standards and protocols ensuring that Design and UX Research/Insight processes are robust, reflective of best practice and highly reflective of current and emerging consumer behaviour.
- Remain up to date with best practice from environmental and competitive analysis and ensure key learning/developments are shared with the team and stakeholders
- Implement agreed Design and UX Research / Insight processes standards and protocols ensuring the application of proven and consistent methodologies
- Coach, mentor and guide team in best practice and design practices across web, mobile and app.
The perfect candidate should have:
- Prior experience managing and mentoring the UX team to ensure the delivery of outstanding experiences and results
- Proven experience leading cross-functional teams in UX best practice to ensure holistic design solutions
- Ability to roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty in all UX activities
- Strong influencing skills that will allow you to drive the strategic direction of the user experience across a portfolio of products
- Keep abreast of current design tools, techniques, and methodologies
- Passion for design and understanding of UX principles
- The ability to meet deadlines and budgets
- Strong communication skills
