Senior Planner

This agency is an expert at converting conceptual, strategic thinking into stunning designs providing the full suite of Digital Services to Australia’s top-notch brands. They are one of Australia’s largest Digital Agencies with offices across Australia.

As the Senior Planner you will report to the Planning Director whilst working closely with the Insights UX teams & Account Managers. Your key project will sit across developing campaigns, social media, on-going channel and website strategies.

The role includes the following responsibilities:
• Developing strategic direction
• Carrying out and facilitating research, workshops and focus groups
• Utilising analysts and researchers
• Build day-to-day relationships with key external and internal stakeholders

The experience you will need:
• 2 + Years of Experience in the Digital Arena
• 1 – 3 years in Strategy
• A knack of extracting opportunities, business goals and requirements for clients
• In-depth working knowledge of each digital channel and of the local/global digital Industry
• Ability to utilise researchers and analysts
• Analytical and conceptual development skills
• Understanding of resources for research eg. Google Analytics or Roy Morgan
• Exceptional verbal, presentation and written communication skills
• An eye for detail and can prioritise tasks independently

We are on a hunt for a User Experience Consultant who is focused in methodology, ambitious and obsessively organised because you will be responsible for:
Your primary role will included various aspects of leadership:
• Improvement in quality of all process and outputs across the team
• Provide and sell UX capability to clients and internal teams, identifying and creating opportunities in their accounts for User Experience work
• Improve integration of User Experience
Other responsibilities will include:
• Conducting focus groups, workshops and Internal/External Stakeholder interviews from design, facilitation and analysis.
• UX tools such as User personas and Journeys. Along with exploration and development of Information Architecture with template lists and clickable wireframes.
• Briefing other project teams and lead for the project lifecycle
To be the successful candidate, you will require:
• 7+ years’ experience in Digital
• 5+ years’ experience in UX, design of Information and Strategy
• 2-3 years’ experience in leadership/managerial role
• Understanding of core UX principles and their application to users
• Have established a leading UX Team who has grown under your guidance.
• Have an ability to extract business requirements, objectives and opportunities for clients
• Practical & conceptual knowledge of digital channels
• International agency experience is highly desired
• Ability to utilise the other strategy teams, ensuring all work is closely aligned to insights and direction
• Extensive experience in people management and project management skill where you have focused on your team – Ability to lead a team throughout all stages of a project to effectively deliver in a fast paced environment.
• Exceptional communication skills – presentations, workshops and relationship development
• Understanding of CMS, database schemas, integration with other systems and front end languages is highly favoured
• Ability to translate various sets of strategic outputs, project requirements, and stakeholder feedback into an outstanding solution that can be executed within the budget.
